BlueView’s BV5000 3D Mechanical Scanners create high-resolution, fully rotational 3D imagery of underwater structures, objects, and sites from unique “eye level” perspectives for unmatched structure and area morphology. Patented acoustic technology delivers unmatched range capacity that is independent of water clarity conditions or turbidity. The portable BV5000 does not require complex positioning or navigation inputs to operate and uses standard terrestrial laser scanning software to join individual scans of large structures/areas. From a stationary position on the sea floor, riverbed, or lake-bottom the BV5000 quickly and easily captures full 360° or sectional 3D scans.

The new generation SeaBat 7125 builds on the field experience and feedback from many users around the world and brings unparalleled resolution and installation flexibility. The system is available in three separate configurations; one designed specifically for installation on small survey vessels and a 6000m depth rated system for either ROV or AUV use. Each of these configurations utilize the same transducer set and provide identical high performance, superlative data quality, features and ease of use over depths from 0.5m to 500m. Special emphasis has been put on maximizing operational efficiency and features such as variable swath width and roll stabilization combined with a high ping rate and excellent data quality.

The new SeaBat 7101 multibeam echosounder brings to the forefront the advanced technology utilized across the range of SeaBat 7000 series multibeam systems. The new 7000 series signal processing and data handling provides the ultimate in performance through an easy upgrade path. A bathymetric sonar operating at 240kHz fitted with either a stick (St) or Extended Range (ER) projector, the 7101 measures up to 511 discrete soundings equally spaced across the wide 150° swath. This sounding density combined with real-time roll stabilization, high accuracy and robust bottom detect provides maximum performance and efficiency in all acoustic environments. Optional, unique 210° coverage option for extremely shallow water or vertical structure surveys. The SeaBat 7101 transducer is depth rated to 100m and is suitable for installation on ROVs and surface vessels where the high ping rate provides very high efficiency by meeting international survey standards even at high vessel speeds.

The 8125 was released in 2000 and since then some 250 systems have been delivered worldwide, being used in a wide variety of applications from pipeline inspection to wreck surveys to general hydrographic survey. The new software suite includes features such as roll stabilization, high density footprints, high quality data output and fully automated operation which maximize productivity and efficiency. The system is optionally available with a fully integrated and pre-configured PDS2000 software package running on the same hardware platform for the ultimate in easy installation, integration & commissioning. The system acoustic performance is improved, providing the highest possible quality data to international standards over the entire 120° swath.
